过去的一个月，我们的沉浸式中文夏令营精彩纷呈，孩子们在不同主题中快乐地学习中文。其中，星球主题尤其受欢迎！我们一起学习了“金、木、水、火、土”五大行星的中文名称，学生们不仅认识了这些汉字，还能用中文描述每个星球的特点。他们还动手制作了可爱的“星期”主题手工，加深了对词汇的理解。最有趣的是，大家学会了一首中文的“星期歌”，经常在课后不自觉地哼唱，乐在其中。

Over the past month, our immersive Chinese summer camp has been full of fun and learning! Each week featured a unique theme, and one of the favorites was our “Planets” theme. Students learned the Chinese characters for Mercury, Venus, Water (Earth), Mars, and Jupiter — 金、木、水、火、土 — and used Chinese to describe each planet. They also created adorable planet-themed crafts related to the days of the week and learned a catchy Chinese “Days of the Week” song. To our delight, many students kept humming the tune even after class!

In addition to the planets, we also explored themes like the Four Seasons and the Ocean, bringing a refreshing touch to the hot summer days. Through hands-on activities, creative thinking, and multi-sensory experiences—including visual, tactile, auditory, and kinesthetic learning—our students learned Chinese in a fun and engaging way.
